Why It Matters

Your Will includes safekeeping for the first 12 months as standard. But life doesn't stop after year one, marriages, house moves, new grandchildren, and changes in the law can all mean your Will needs revisiting.

Legacy Protection Membership keeps that protection going for as long as you need it, so your Will is never left to go out of date, get lost, or become impossible to find when it matters most.

What's Included

Ongoing Protection

Ongoing Safe Storage

Your original Will stays securely stored with the SWW National Will Archive for as long as your membership is active.

Free Annual Legal Review

We check in on your Will each year to flag anything that may need attention as your circumstances change.

One Free Amendment a Year

A small change to update? Your first amendment each year is included, terms and conditions apply.

Discounts

Members receive 20% off any future services with Swift Legacy, along with priority support and advice whenever you need it.

Why This Matters

Wills Get Lost

Every year, thousands of families are unable to locate a loved one's Will, sometimes because it was kept in a drawer or filing cabinet nobody could find. Professional, registered storage means that never happens.

Life Doesn't Stand Still

Marriage, divorce, new grandchildren, house moves. The average person's circumstances change enough within a few years that an unreviewed Will can quietly fall out of step with their real wishes.

Damage Can Invalidate a Will

A Will kept at home is at risk from fire, flood, simple wear and tear or loss. If the Probate Registry finds staple or paperclip marks, tears, or any sign it may have been altered or tampered with, they can refuse to accept it, sometimes forcing your estate into intestacy as if no Will existed at all.

Professional Storage Removes the Risk

Held securely with the SWW National Will Archive, your original is protected from damage, wear and tear, tampering, and loss, so there's never a question over its condition or authenticity when it's needed.

What Happens When It's Needed

When the time comes, your executors don't need to search through paperwork or guess where your Will is kept. They simply contact Swift Legacy directly, and because your Will is registered with the National Will Register and held securely with the SWW National Will Archive, it can be located and released to them without delay.

That's the real purpose of membership: not just keeping a document safe, but making sure the people you trust can actually find and act on it when it matters most.

Membership FAQs

It works like an insurance policy for your Will. It ensures your documents stay valid and up to date, safely stored and legally maintained, so when your family needs it most it is always there, always correct and always findable.
No, membership is optional. Your Will includes safekeeping for the first 12 months as standard. Membership simply continues that protection beyond the first year, along with additional benefits.
Your Will remains valid. However, ongoing storage and annual reviews are not included beyond the first 12 months unless you renew separately or take out membership.
Members are entitled to one free amendment to their Will per year, subject to our standard terms and conditions. This is separate from a full Will Check & Review or a full rewrite.
Yes, membership is a rolling monthly subscription with no fixed term, and you can cancel whenever you choose.
Single membership covers one person's Will. Couple membership covers both partners' Wills under one plan, including safekeeping, an annual legal review, one free amendment per year, a 20% discount off all future services, and priority support and dedicated advice, for each partner.
No. Membership covers one free amendment per year. A full rewrite is a separate service, though members receive a 20% discount off all future Swift Legacy services, including rewrites.
Your Will remains legally valid. Ongoing safekeeping and the membership benefits will no longer apply, so we would recommend arranging alternative storage to ensure your Will can still be found when needed.
Storage Renewal covers safekeeping of your documents only. Full membership includes that plus an annual legal review, one free amendment per year, and a 20% discount on future services.
Storage is charged per person, not per couple, since each partner has their own individual Will held in safekeeping. Couple pricing reflects two separate renewals rather than a joint discount.
Yes. You can move between Storage Renewal and full membership, or between Single and Couple, whenever your circumstances change. There's no fixed term or penalty for switching.
