Every Will we prepare is registered and held in secure, professional storage with the SWW National Will Archive, so it's protected, correct, and easy to find exactly when your family needs it.
A Will kept at home in a drawer or filing cabinet is at real risk, from fire and flood to simple wear and tear and damage over time. Beyond the risk of loss, the Probate Registry can refuse to accept a Will that shows signs of damage or tampering, such as staple or paperclip marks, tears, or anything suggesting it may have been altered. In the worst cases, this can force an estate into intestacy as though no Will existed at all.
That's why every Will we prepare is placed into professional safe custody with the National Will Archive, the official storage arm of the Society of Will Writers, rather than left at risk at home.
